The Pink Crusaders were founded by my sister (a breast cancer survivor) and me. We teamed up as the "Pink Crusaders" to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. For the past 4 years, the Pink Crusaders have participated in the Pink on Parade walk up Mt. Rubidoux.
As we all know, events such as this have been canceled due to the pandemic. While our lives may seem to have come to a screeching halt, cancer has not. On average, every 2 minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States. Every 2 minutes!
The Pink Ribbon Place, in partnership with the Riverside Community Health Foundation, is an organization that serves cancer patients and their families with a variety resources at no cost. Resources such as counseling, support groups, wigs, bras and prosthetics, to name a few.
During the month of October, join us as we raise breast cancer awareness virtually in our community for this year's Pink on Parade to help support those who are currently going through breast cancer, celebrate our survivors and honor those we have lost.
Please donate to our team, the Pink Crusaders. Better yet, partner with us by joining our team and help us to have a bigger impact on our communities. It's free to join, and Pink Crusaders, along with the Pink Ribbon Place, plans to paint our communities pink this October with contests, fundraising and awareness.
Thank you for your support!
