I fell in love with Dolphins 🐬 and Whales 🐳 when I was about 11. I was always astounded that Japan, Iceland And Norway were still killing them back in the 1970s. Here we are 45 years later and they are still at it. Japan's Taiji Cove is especially troubling since it is used to hunt and kill or capture dolphins for entertainment shows around the world. This activity is merciles, torturous, and results in a dozen "fishermen" wrestling dolphins in a cove of their own blood until they are killed or taken away to be sold for a life of captivity. It's quite sadistic and the Dolphin Project is trying to stop it. I am pledging to pedal my bicycle 100 miles for this fundraiser between now and the virtual race day of October 10th. This will raise money for the Dolphin Project monitors to continue their work at the Cove In the hopes that these Japanese fishermen will someday stop this madness.
