This period in history is proving to be difficult for many individuals, small businesses, and non-profits alike. COVID 19 has impacted non-profits across the board for their ability to host fundraising events with the public and has hurt our ability to showcase our amazing animals. We have events planned for the rest of the year, and while we are hopeful that our plans will occur, nothing is certain at this point.
Perry County Animal Rescue is completely funded through donations and ran by volunteers.
In 2019 PCoAR had 95 dog adoptions and an additional 30 dogs returned home to their owners.
In July of 2019 we completed and moved into our amazing new facility that YOU - our donors, our community, and our volunteers worked so hard to accomplish.
So far this year we have had 46 dog adoptions and 18 dogs returned home to their families.
We were also able to open our Cat Cabin for our friendly felines!! Please considering donating to help us continue to care for the animals in need in our community along with assisting our community to keep their animals through the financial stress of this pandemic. If you are unable to donate at this time, a simple share is all we would ask for.
