Friday, February 7th the American Heart Association will celebrate Go Red For Women—an annual event dedicated to increasing awareness of heart disease and other life threating heart conditions in women. According to research by the American Heart Association, heart disease, stroke, and high blood pressure are the number one killers of both women and men in the United States.
Please wear red and donate $5 to the American Heart Association in honor of Go Red for Women Day. Your donation will go towards the fight against the world's number 1 and number 2 killers: heart disease and stroke. All donators will receive a Go Red for Women pin to wear and show your support. Perkins Eastman will also be matching all employee donation to the American Heart Association
NYC cash donations can be dropped off to Lisa Negron in HR.
All other office cash donations can be dropped off to your operations manager
Go Red For Women is a national initiative that companies and individuals have the opportunity to participate in to aide in this increased awareness effort. We are excited to announce that Human Resources will be implementing Go Red For Women Day throughout PE’s US offices for 2020. We would like to encourage everyone to participate and #WearRedandGive for Women (and our entire PE family) on Friday, February 7th.
We ask that local office representatives help spread the word and coordinate a time with your colleagues and teams to snap some inspiring photos! Please send any shots to firstname.lastname@example.org, as well as share them on your studio Instagram pages! As a follow-up, we will create an inspiring Orchard post to help national Go Red For Women day progress for years to come.
