Together We Heal: A Walk for Wellness with PEP is an event aimed at raising awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD) like Postpartum Depression, Postpartum Anxiety & OCD, Postpartum PTSD, Postpartum Psychosis, and Pregnancy Depression and Anxiety. Our mission is to strengthen local resources so that families facing these challenges will get the support they need.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

This year's fundraiser will support:
WELCOME EVERY BABY FAMILY CONNECTS (WEB-FC)
WEB-FC is an evidence-based, free nurse home visitation program. WEB-FC provides one to three postpartum nurse/lactation consultant home or tele-health visits within the first 3 months of a newborn's life regardless of socio-economic background. Each visit focuses on providing support and education in health and wellbeing, nutrition, parenting, newborn feeding and development, and self-care.
Research shows that 95% of all families have needs/questions/concerns after the birth of a child. WEB-FC bridges the gap between parents and community resources and has been shown to improve family well-being, including reducing emergency medical care for infants and improving parenting skills and child-related outcomes.
PEP will donate all profits from this event in support of WEB-FC to provide extra follow-up visits for parents that are struggling with emotional concerns, PMAD, or are at risk of developing PMAD in the future.
This year's event will be held VIRTUALLY in order to support families safely during this time. Although we can't be together, we hope that you can join us by getting out and hitting the pavement, the sand, or the trail on Sunday, October 25th.
