Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is devastating genetic disease with no cure. Those with EB have extremely delicate skin, resulting in blistering or tearing from any friction throughout their lifetime.
One of our own employees has an infant son with this disease and is constantly managing the daily wound care and infection control that is necessary. Her hope is that one day a cure is discovered so that he can be relieved of the pain and other serious health issues associated with EB.
In order to find a cure for EB, research organizations need funding. EB Research Partnership is an organization that is devoted to funding research for the treatment and cure of Epidermolysis Bullosa. You can read more about it at https://www.ebresearch.org/our-mission.html.
WFG is hosting a penny war from 10/15-10/31 to raise money to donate to EB Research Partnership (EBRP)! We have divided both the Toledo office staff and remote employees into 4 teams. Office staff will fill jugs with pennies and silver change. Remote staff can donate via check, Venmo, Apple Pay or directly online on this site. All teams are encouraged to get the word out about EB and the fundraiser. Anyone can donate!
Let’s raise money to help find a cure for this deadly disease!
