Penny wasn't always so 'Punk Rock'.
Growing up with her loving parents, she made good grades in obedience school, helped little old ladies cross the street, and stood her ground when her rebel Poodle classmates would try to sneak 'people food' into class. Racing was never in her future...or so she thought.
In her adolescent years, as many good doggies do, she started hanging out with the wrong crowd. Using neighbors' yards as her personal restroom, shredding couch cushions for fun and was caught with some catnip, though she'll never admit it was hers. Traded in her wholesome music catalog for some harder tunes. Misfits, Sex Pistols, The Clash and Social Distortion...amongst other bands. She dropped out of obedience school and never looked back. She soon earned her street name, PUNK ROCK PENNY.
One day, while cruising the neighborhood, she ran into a Greyhound named Lil' Zippy. Lil' Zippy was a racer. A champion, at that. They quickly became friends and Lil' Zip took Punk Rock Penny under his wing. Punk Rock Penny got a taste for the racing life. Turning her rebel tendencies into a passion for something better...THE RACETRACK.
Punk Rock will forever be her style, her nature and her attitude. But thanks to her Greyhound mentor, she found herself and found the courage to become the canine everyone can admire and respect. WHO'S A GOOD GIRL?! YOU'RE A GOOD GIRL! YES, YOU ARE!
You can now see PRP for yourself, racing her way into victory at WienerMania 2019 on March 9th.
