We need your help financially to install “Community Video Cameras in use” warning signs at every entrance into the Penitencia Neighborhood. Please consider donating to our cause.
The Penitencia Neighborhood is tired of being subjected to the crime, theft and vandalism of our property across our community. The safety and security of our households is paramount and critical. Unfortunately, our neighborhood has experienced crime, including porch pirates, stolen catalytic converters, stolen cars, vandalism of property and in one brazen incident, a house sprayed with gunfire in the middle of the night. To address this issue, the Penitencia Neighborhood Association (PNA) in collaboration with the City of San Jose Police Department and the City of San Jose Department of Transportation are working together to install signs at the entrances of the neighborhood, warning criminals that their actions will be captured on video by the personnel home video cameras within the community and 911 will be called. The burden of cost includes the labor and material to procure and install the signs. This cost is overwhelming for the neighbors to absorb under these harsh economic times. This is where we need your help.
Please consider donating to this desperate situation and thank you in advance for your generosity.
