The Devil Dog Squadron is honored to be one of the aircraft selected to participate in the 2020 Arsenal of Democracy Flyover in Washington D.C. The squadron is soliciting funds to help offset the cost of flying and expenses for the trip from Texas to and from Washington D.C. In addition, work is still in progress on completing and funding a spare engine. The cost of the spare engine is substantial, however having a spare on hand is vital to the Squadron being able to fulfill commitments with minimal down time in the event an engine needs to be replaced.
The B-25 Devil Dog is configured to represent a PBJ-1J of the U.S. Marine Corps, Devil Dog appears at an average of 20 events annually, telling the story and honoring the Marine Corps aviators in the Pacific. Clad in its signature blue paint with bulldog nose art, the unmistakable profile of the B-25 and distinctive sound of its twin Wright R-2600 engines never fails to excite the crowd.
