This is my 14th consecutive year peddling the Mountains to Desert Ride, having missed the first one. I must really enjoy riding it (which I do!) and yet it remains a big challenge for me. 105 miles on a bicycle is nothing to sniff at and by the time I reach Gateway, I'm ready to call it a day. I've met so many incredible people on this tour over the years, many of whom I end up riding with (at least part of the way) . It's made me realize how interconnected our communities are in this isolated part of Colorado. I am very involved with our local non-profits here in the West End communities, so I appreciate the incredible work the Just For Kids Foundation does for our area kids. Please help me help them by donating today to my fund raising page.
Also, if you are a road cyclist, this ride is one of the most stunning in Colorado for the shear beauty and ideal riding terrain the tour brings you through. Consider signing up to be a participant. You won't be sorry!
