September High School is an accredited non‐profit and non‐denominational independent high school here in Boulder, established in 1973 by parents and educators as an alternative to public education.
Their stated Mission:
"September High School is an intimate and supportive community that fosters individual development and reawakens the love of learning. We empower our students to be critical thinkers, lifelong learners, and responsible citizens."
If that sounds familiar it's because it's unlikely there's a school out there that wouldn't sign on to at least the spirit of such a statement.
'Difference is, SeptSchool actually does it.
And with both my boys having joined that "intimate and supportive community" - as wild a ride as it's been! - I remain unbelievably grateful.
Grateful enough to have joined their school board 6 years ago and still be involved.
All proceeds here will go towards the school scholarship fund to provide increased access for those students and families to get A CHANCE at experiencing education as it was meant to be but otherwise could not afford - and yes, we were one of those families!
I'm planning on saying more via a video or two, however, if you've any questions feel free to hit me up via (720) 882-6465.
