Not having served myself, I’ve always supported the men and women who sacrificed so much for the freedoms our great nation affords to us. So, when I have the opportunity to donate to a cause that supports them, I do so with great pride. Last year I attended a fund raiser held by James Regan, whose son was an Army Ranger that was killed in Action on February 9, 2007 in Iraq. James’s story of his son, Sgt. James Regan’s accomplishments, untimely death and what he is doing to help other soldiers with The Lead the Way Fund, had hit me. This is a cause I would like to help and therefore want to make this run mean something for those in need that have served our country.
