Patty is a homeless dog rescued from the streets of Guatemala. This fundraising is to help her afford surgery to remove a huge tumor from her neck. The tumor was bigger than a baseball.
A lump was detected on her neck that grew extremely fast in a matter of days. Fortunately, pathology confirmed it was benign, but it had to be removed. Prior to surgery the tumor was treated for a week with injected steroids to reduce the size. The surgery was complex lasting more than four hours.
Patty is a warrior and endured several weeks at the vet since the injury in her neck was very delicate and required constant cleaning and monitoring. She’s almost at 100% but needs our help to pay her vet bill for the surgery, treatment, medications and tests. Her total bill amounts to $495.
We are fundraising to help her. She has gone thru this ordeal in high spirits and always waging her tail. Please consider making a small donation to help her start a new life free from suffering and debt.
