On June 20th, 2018 our beloved Patti lost her battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Every 60 seconds in this country someone is developing a dementia related disease...and there is no cure. This crisis is very real and without a cure the numbers will increase to a projected 14 million people by 2050.
But there is hope and here at Brigham and Women's, the research staff which includes Dr. Seth Gale, who was Patti’s doctor, are making great strides in finding the answers to put an end to this insidious disease. What a blessing to have Dr. Gale and all the others involved in research dedicating themselves to the future when dementia will have an early diagnosis and cure!!
Please be as generous as you can and know that you are helping others in our Patti’s name. All monies raised will go directly to supporting dementia research here at BWH.
TOGETHER...we can make a difference! THANK YOU!

November 9, 2019 we hosted our first "Dragonflies toward a Dementia Cure" event at Jenness Beach! Nearly 100 people came together to fly dragonfly kites in Patti’s honor and in support of research to find a cure for dementia. We hope you can join us for this event next year!
