Pastelito is a homeless puppy rescued at four months of age with a pelvis fracture and severe anemia and diarrhea. He was just laying by the side of the road crying in pain when a kind person rescued him and called our partner rescue group for assistance.
He was brought to the vet immediately and fortunately he tested negative for distemper and parvo. However, he was diagnosed with babesia – a disease caused by parasites.
Fortunately, the fracture will heal with rest and good care and no surgery is required. However, he needs help for his blood transfusion, hospitalization, tests and medications. We are fundraising to help him as he needs $295.
His outlook was very conservative, but he is improving very well. The blood transfusion did wonders. He is a warrior and can have a good life, but he needs your help. Please consider making a donation today. He has suffered enough.
