We've had such wonderful, abundant response to our efforts that we feel emboldened to ask for your help to fix the back porch, too! It is sinking and pulling away from the parsonage and we'd like to add it to our list of repairs below.
In preparation for Pastor Jackie's arrival this summer, we want to complete some much needed repairs to the parosnage. Normally we would host a church work day, but due to the pandemic, as well as several repairs requiring skilled trades, we are requesting donations from our church family.
Here is a list of some of the repairs that will need to be done:
➖Back porch repair
➖Removal of old attic insulation
➖Replacement of the insulation with spray foam on the roof deck (more energy efficient!) and includes sealing of the attic space
➖Replacement of the HVAC system and ductwork - needed but also improves the energy efficiency of the home
➖Plumbing repairs to fix low water pressure issues, replace some rusting pipes, and repair some piping in one of the bathrooms
It's a lot and all these thing require licensed trades, so $10,000 will only cover a portion of what we need to complete the required for repairs. However, we are so fortunate that some generous members of our congregation, Jo & Tom Webber, have pledged to match all donations of $50 or more up to $5,000, getting us closer to our goal!
Please consider a gift of $50+ if you are able, but every donation helps. Thank you for giving what you can to help us welcome Pastor Jackie into a safe and comfortable home here at St. Luke!
