When Avalon Dance and Fitness Studio owner Peter Walker’s longtime colleague and dance coach, Marianne Nicole De Palma, lost her brother, David Potter, to pancreatic cancer, Walker did not “miss a beat” to figure out how he could honor him. So he partnered with Bay State Health Foundation and went to work creating a benefit to raise money to help treat this disease.
David Potter received exceptional care from a compassionate medical team at the Bay State Regional Cancer Center. Silent auction and direct donations will support Bay State Health Foundation Pancreatic Cancer programs.
The Benefit will be 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28. There will be food, social dancing, a live band as well as the silent and live auction at the Avalon Dance Studio, 345 Trapelo Road, Belmont. Tickets to the Benefit are $50 and may be purchased separately at avalondanceandfitness.com, schedule, upcoming events.
