We would like to say thank you for your interest in participating in our Inaugural Breast Cancer Walk for the 2018-2019 academic school year. We are excited to collaborate with UWG Emerging Healthcare Leaders for their Inaugural Breast Cancer Walk for 2018-2019. The walk will take place October 13th at the UWG Stadium. Our goal is to raise $15,000, and it is definitely possible. There are over 160 student organizations on campus, and if each organization raised and donated at least $100 a piece, we can easily surpass our goal! This campaign event is for all of UWG and for the community of Carrollton. We would not be able to do this without you.

Painted Pink Inc. is an Atlanta based 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raises awareness about breast health and breast cancer, the importance of taking preventative measures, and funds for local cancer patients at Emory Winship Cancer Institute as well as Facing our Risk of Cancer Empowered – Atlanta Network. Each year in October, Painted Pink hosts a Breast Cancer Bruncheon that features breast cancer survivors as guest speakers, caregivers, local health providers. Our fifth annual bruncheon will be held in October 6, 2018.

Funds raised by Painted Pink are utilized in these ways:

 1. Survivor kits for local cancer care centers

3. Baby showers for expecting mothers undergoing treatment
