We have good news and not-so-good news.First the not-so-good. The pandemic is not yet over and just as in 2020, we will not be able to host our Images of Inspiration luncheon this spring. This annual event and art sale not only showcases the work of our incredible artists, but it also generates a critical portion of our annual operating revenue. Last year you came through for us with generous donations that allowed us to keep our doors open whenever Covid-19 restrictions permitted. We could not have done it without your help, and we need that help again.
The good news: Despite the challenges posed by a year-long pandemic, our artists have continued to create marvelous works of art. Images that will excite you, lift you, and yes, inspire you.
Our goal is to share it with you. Here is our plan.
First, in order to raise the operating funds we usually receive from the luncheon, we are launching a month- long GoFundMe campaign, from
April 8th to May 8th. Please consider donating what you would have spent to attend our luncheon.
Second, on the last day of the campaign, Saturday May 8th, we will open our Studio for an epic art sale. Works from ALL Paint a Miracle artists will be for sale. Support your favorite artists and stop by any time from 8:30am - 3:30pm. You can also purchase their art work at www.paintamiracle.org/store.
The programming of Paint a Miracle is supported in part by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Abrams Foundation. We could not have made it through this pandemic without their support.
