The CAF Red Tail Squadron is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to educating audiences across the country about the history and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen, America’s first black military pilots and their support personnel. The pinnacle of their three-fold outreach program is an authentic, fully restored WWII-era P-51C Mustang, the signature aircraft of the Tuskegee Airmen. It is flown in numerous air shows and events around the country for nine months out of each year in order to reach as many people as possible with our inspirational message. The group’s Six Guiding Principles – Aim High, Believe In Yourself, Use Your Brain, Be Ready To Go, Never Quit and Expect to Win – serve as the foundation for their program and are based on the experiences and successes of the Tuskegee Airmen.
In addition, we curate and provide extensive educational resources for students, teachers, youth leaders and anyone looking to learn more and be inspired by these remarkable American trailblazers. Your support will help ensure this important piece of American history is not lost. Learn more at www.redtail.org.
