Help the dogs of Outcast Rescue during this time of need
The “new normal”.
As we all try to navigate this fear, uncertainty, and not knowing what’s next-some things haven’t changed. Days still come and go. The sun still rises and sets. And animals still need our help. Now, more so than ever. Rescue doesn’t slow down because states are on a shut down. The need for rescue only increases. Just last week alone we took in Asia, a wonderful little nugget that experienced some spinal trauma-is urinary incontinent. The other day we took in Callie - a pit bull baby that was time stamped after being hit by a car. She deserved a shot. How could anyone say no? Betty Boop the little mange girl and some others we haven't even announced yet. When we make these decisions, we do it with the dog in mind - not the money. We tell ourselves we’ll find the money. But now, the “new normal” is that donations are low, people are afraid of losing jobs etc. and we understand it. But the “reality”, the non-profits you love need help more than ever. We appreciate all donations even if it’s just a dollar. A dollar goes a long way. $5.00 helps pay for a vaccine. $10.00 can help buy microchips. Several $25 donation help pay for surgeries. If you can, we ask that you donate-no amount is too small. Again, we appreciate what everyone is going thru right now-we are in this together. **For those that are working from home and always thought, “I would totally foster if I was home more.” Now is your chance!! Bring a little bit of joy and “different” into your home. It may be just what you need to deal with the “new normal”. You can help us this #givingtuesdaynow by donating to the care of the Outcast dogs.
Thank you to ALL essential employees... healthcare, grocery store workers, truck drivers-we love you. And to everyone stay safe.
