As many have heard, our church abruptly lost it's home last week and Dec. 8th was the last time we worshipped in our space of three years. This Sunday we will most likely be meeting in homes, but are believing God to miraculously provide a new space for us to meet in. You can be part of that story by giving towards our future space.
In our last Sunday at our old space, I explained what happened and what season I believe our church is in. You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/gslKRRLQoHM
We have had so many people reach out asking how they can help. As a church, every year we have done a giving campaign. This year, we want to invite all those praying for us to participate with us in faith as we give towards our next space and stage of our church.
For those that have not heard about our church, here is a little backstory. We started just under three years ago with 7 people. Our values of Community, Discipleship, and Creativity have driven us forward in the mission of seeing people come to know and love Jesus in our neighborhood. Our congregation's oldest member is 89 and our youngest changes almost weekly (so many babies!).
Over the years we have seen God do more than we ever thought would be possible with such a small group of people. We have met in a public school since our inception. It's actually the school I graduated 8th grade in, so it's been beautiful to pastor and worship there. Getting into the space was a miracle in itself and we are thankful for every week we gathered in it. Now homeless, our church is believing God for a new space for the next phase of what he wants to do through us in our part of the city.
