Oso was just five months when he was run over by a car. He was rescued with multiple leg fractures that sadly required amputation. He was also neglected by his “owners”, so he had severe anemia and ehrlichiosis (disease caused by ticks that causes flu-like symptoms).
When he arrived at the vet he had to be stabilized for several days before doing the amputation since he was very weak. He underwent surgery and is recovering very well. He is a strong pup!
We are helping Oso by raising $450 to pay a big part of his veterinary bill. This will help pay his amputation surgery, neuter surgery and hospitalization. We can’t do anything to change his past, but we can help Oso start a new life free from suffering and debt. Please consider making a small donation to help him – anything helps.
