The Yellow Brick Foundation was founded to benefit the lost and sometimes forgotten people of our communities, the homeless. Our mission is to rehabilitate these individuals off the streets and back into “regular” society by implementing a 6-12-month rehabilitation program, at our very own center – The Yellow Brick Center.
The Yellow Brick Center
The Yellow Brick Center is our flagship program. The goal is to house and rehabilitate up to 25 homeless individuals off the streets and back into regular society. There will be 2 separate facilities, one for males and the other for females. The rehabilitation process will be divided into phases. Some of the center’s goals would be to provide mental health services, re-connect the people with family, and ultimately during the graduation phase, the goal is for them to be employed and have a safe place to live of their own.
And there’s more…
The Yellow Brick Foundation will also provide care packages, a food pantry, hot meal services, and the ability to provide hot showers through our Yellow Brick Resource Truck (similar to a food truck).
