In 2019 the Oregon Thunder Softball program completed construction of the Indoor Hitting Facility at Glencoe High School in Hillsboro, OR.
The facility has 3 batting cage tunnels, pitching machines nets, tees and buckets of softballs.
This is the only indoor hitting facility exclusively for girls softball anywhere in Washington County, Oregon.
As we continue to grow our program and fundraise for the 2020 we are raising funds to purchase some upgrades for 2 of the hitting tunnels. With our Oregon weather the indoor hitting facility allows our players to train indoors all year.
Your donations will go directly towards the purchase of a Rapsodo Hitting 2.0, a Rapsodo Pitching 2.0, monitors and mounts.
The Rapsodo addition to the hitting facility tunnels will allow our players to get instant feedback on their speed, exit velocity, launch angle, direction, spin axis and more.
The indoor hitting facility is free to use for Oregon Thunder players. There are no ongoing usage fees or rental fees. The facility was built with 100% of the funds raised through donations.

The mission and purpose of Thunder Softball is to provide girls in Western Washington County a top quality opportunity to learn and play fast pitch softball in an environment of good sportsmanship. We also compete at regional and national tournaments dependent upon qualifying through tournament play. These activities are offered in support of local area schools and their continuing inability to provide adequate funding for the Washington County area girls athletic activities. Thunder Softball is designed to give players encouragement to use softball as a sport to improve their athletic excellence, provide educational opportunity, build leadership and team skills and self confidence, and to have fun.
