Options Veterinary Care: A non-profit clinic to keep pets and their people together Pets are suffering in Northern Nevada because their people cannot afford veterinary care. We plan to open a nonprofit, low-cost clinic in Reno called Options Veterinary Care to decrease this suffering and to increase the number of pets who get to stay with their families – but we need your help to make it happen.
Every day we are asked when we will open. Just yesterday, we received another plea: “My mother is a low-income senior citizen. One of her cats is in need of dental work including tooth extractions. He recently did a course of antibiotics to help while she attempts to save up some money. Can you put her on a list for when you open?”
Donate now to make a positive difference in the lives of people and pets in our community.
Where will the money go: We’re seeking to raise $97,000 to purchase a standard digital X-ray machine, dental x-ray, radiological safety equipment and the contruction of the x-ray room for pets..
