Who is OpFaith Operation Faith Transition Transportation & Re-Development Program, Inc? Established in 2014, a Nonprofit 501(c)(3) Organization. We are a 100% Donor Base Organization, Providing the Community with a Housing, Transportation Re-Development & Empowered Program Designed for Inmates, Ex-offenders, Veteran's and Non-Vets, Homeless, Abuse Victims and their Families along with, Alternative Lifestyle, and Teens Aging out of Foster Care. A LifesReDesign for those that may have lost hope. (Abuse and Prisons Do Not Discriminate against Age, Nationality, Religion, Economic Class, Gender or Education) NOR DO WE.
For the past four years through monthly donations, a team of OpFaith 1 Mission volunteers gather and take to the street feeding 250 to 300 people on multiple sides of town. Also providing groceries to families monthly. Since Covid-19, our donor based dropped 65%, resulting in a cut back on serving. One day alone we receive on average 4 family request for help. OpFaith 1 Mission Project is determined not to allow those that request to go without food and necessities.
Our grocery purchase alone ranges from $174.00 - $197.00 per family. $220.00 which includes household items (toilet paper, soap, dish liquid, etc.) When we started in 2016 it was feeding five families a month. It has now grown to feeding 2-3 families a week and growing. Here is where you come in, $1000.00 will feed 5 families. Our 3rd Saturday 1 Mission in Multiple Locations outreach, normally takes $500.00 to cover the expense to serve hot meals or give out lunches within 2 - 3 neighborhoods, per city. We will not give what we won't buy for ourselves. Our requests are growing, and we need to reach as many as possible.
Realizing times are hard, and Covid-19 has reached everyone in one form or another. We're asking for your help to provide for those in need. For every 100 people giving $100.00, or 50 people giving $20.00, that will feed Five Families a month. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $10,000.00. With your help, we can do this and more.
People should never have to decide between feeding their family or paying rent. Our CEO, Dr. Thompson knows first hand how it feels not to be able to provide for her children as a single mother. Having become ill, losing her job, home, and sleeping in her car with her two young children at the time. These, among other events, have Pushed her over the years. Ensuring OpFaith is intentional in what and how we serve.
We serve outside of Jacksonville, FL. We place our orders online and have them delivered directly to the family. This is only for areas we have not established partnerships or OpFaith 1 Missions.
There are people in need everywhere. Understanding we can't reach everyone, we are eager to do our part. OpFaith 1 Mission teaming up with you through your donations; will allow us to continue to reach those in need. For more information on OpFaith visit our website at
