We are launching a two phase program for building, renovating and furnishing/maintaining a facility for the Nicholas Black Elk Training Center.
The Nicholas Black Elk Training Center is responsible for recruiting, training and providing continuing education to missionaries working in our mission territories. Currently our operations have been done virtually.
We are seeking to purchase so that we can develop a training facility, or catechetical school, where we can train our missionaries, but also the general public including, Catechists, Parents, Home School Parents and others who may be interested in the faith.
This property will also be used as a spiritual retreat center where people can come and pray at our on campus prayer locations around the property.
We will also develop a chapel where persons can come and explore the faith.
It will also be home base for sending our missionaries to North and South Carolina as we continue our missions to the Cherokee, the Lumbee and the Pee Dee Indians.
All monies received are Tax Deductible and go exclusively to this Capital Campaign. Should your donation go above the specified amount, it will be transferred to the following phase of this fundraiser. The phases are broken down as such:
Phase 2: Renovation of Property - $800,000
Phase 3: Furnishing and Maintenance - $500,000
Any donations received after Phase 2 will continue to go towards building maintenance.
From all of us here at the Catholic Mission to the Carolina Indians, thank you for your donation and support of our missionary endeavors to bring Christ's Church to the Native Peoples of the Carolinas and Georgia..
