Cancer has affected the lives of far too many of our loved ones, and I invite you help the Ocean of Hope team make a difference to the sea of people affected by cancer.
Am proud to be on the O2H paddle team for a fourth year and dedicate my training and racing to those who are in remission, going through treatment or have lost the battle. The six butterflies on my prone paddleboard represent loved ones who have passed because of this horrible disease … my dad Tom, my cousin Patty, my dear “Babe” Maggie, Phil, Danielle and Keith. I also paddle to support and give hope to countless others who are living with cancer and engaged in the cancer battle.
O2H is an amazing team of athletes who are truly dedicated. We push on, paddling many miles in all types of conditions, navigating waves, wind and the unknown to help and support cancer patients as they navigate the unpredictable seas of diagnosis, treatments and uncertainty. Our team mission is to raise much needed funds for The Sarcoma Alliance, who provides free of charge services to those battling cancer by assisting them to find the guidance, education, support and crucial second opinion grants.
Please support Ocean of Hope … I do not want to add another butterfly to my board! Any donation, no matter how small or big, is truly appreciated,
Thank you for your caring,
