On your marks…get set…GO!!!...to the 9th Annual Elim Eagles’ Wings 5K Run, Walk, & Roll on Saturday, May 11, 2019!
This event hosts the traditional Elim 5K, along with a 1-Mile Short Loop and a "Quiet Walk" route for those with sensory needs.

Join us on the grounds of Elim Christian Services in Crestwood, Illinois, to lace up your running or walking shoes and stride for the finish line on Saturday, May 11, 2019 (9 a.m. race start). Participants may choose between the timed 5K course and the untimed 1-mile short loop course, both of which begin and end on Elim’s west side of campus.
The Elim Eagles’ Wings 5K Run, Walk, & Roll hopes to raise $50,000 through this fun family event to fund equipment, program, and facility needs for our school and adult services programs. All registered participants will receive a free tech T-shirt (note: sizing runs small) and will also enjoy music, refreshments, and raffle drawings. Kids will even have the opportunity to partake in a free pre-race obstacle course.
This years 5K theme is 1980's! So like - be sure to come dressed for success in your 80's best! Totally tubular options include parachute pants, leg warmers, neon, oversized sweatshirts, and sky high shoulder pads. Be totally radical with accessories like scrunchies, streamer barrettes, jelly bracelets, and charm necklaces. And make sure you've got like toooh-tally big hair - whether it's feathered, teased, spiral permed, or shaped into a mullet or mohawk! See who can be the most gnarly dude in your family at the 2019 Elim 5K! No doubt you'll want to capture this event on video and replay it on your VCR for decades to come! Word.
