Did you know May is National Foster Care Month???
Please join us as Mixed Roots Foundation kicks off National Foster Care Month and celebrates its 8 Year Anniversary by teaming up with the New York Yankees and hosts 1,500 adopted, foster youth and their families at the Inaugural Adoptee Night at Yankee Stadium! It will be a very special night for all who are touched by adoption and foster care!
Mixed Roots Foundation will also be featuring its newest Jr. Ambassador, Kaleya Ervin who will be representing Mixed Roots Foundation out on the field! Kaleya is 12 years old, Mixed African American and Hawaiin, adopted out of foster care when she was 3-1/2 years old, sings, plays the piano, just came out with her new book "Now I See" published by Noah's Ark Publishing Service and is legally blind!
Help Mixed Roots Foundation and Kaleya Go to Bat for Kids and send more kids like her to their first Yankees game by donating $25 or more and each kid will get a ticket to the game and receive a copy of Kaleya's book!
Thank you for making a difference through your support and participation - We look forward to seeing all of you soon from Grass Roots to Mixed Roots! GO YANKEES!!!
