Please join me as we officially kick off National Foster Care Month o Friday, May 3rd and celebrate Mixed Roots Foundation's 8 Year Anniversary...
We are teaming up with the New York Yankees for the first time this year where we will be hosting 1,500 adopted, foster youth like me and their families to the Inaugural Adoptee Night at Yankee Stadium! It will be a very special night for all who are touched by adoption and foster care.
As one of Mixed Roots Foundation's proudest and newest Jr. Ambassadors, I will be representing Mixed Roots Foundation out on the field!
I am 12 years old, Mixed African American and Hawaiin, adopted out of foster care when I was 3-1/2 years old by my Auntie and Uncle, I love to sing and play the piano and I just came out with my new book "Now I See" published by Noah's Ark Publishing Service and I am legally blind!
Help me Go to Bat for Kids and send more kids like me to their first Yankees game by donating $25 or more and each kid will get a ticket to the game and receive a copy of my book!
Thank you for making a difference and I look forward to seeing all of you soon - GO YANKEES!!!
