Hi everyone! On July 1, I will be participating in the NYC Triathlon (yes, that does include swimming in the Hudson River..eek) to support and raise awareness for an incredible organization - Experience Camps.
Experience Camps are free one-week camps for boys and girls who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. They are places where kids can laugh, cry, play, create, remember the person who died, or forget the grief that weighs them down. It's a place where they can feel "normal", because everyone there has been through something similar and understands what it's like to lose someone important to them. It's a home away from home. And just about everyone will tell you..."It's the best week of the year".
Here's where you come in - although camp is free for every single camper, it costs $2,000 to send one child to camp for one week. It is my goal raise enough to send one child to camp. I would really appreciate your support!
Thanks everyone for reading this! :)
