Nugget is a young homeless puppy rescued from the streets of Guatemala in terrible shape after he was run over by a car and left for dead. He had multiple fractures and a horrible wound on his abdomen since the car dragged him on the street after the impact.
He was in shock and excruciating pain when he was brought to the vet. Fortunately, no damage on the spine was found so he could walk again.
He required several stitches on the abdomen and wound cleaning and treatment for several days. He also required surgery to fix the humerus in the front right leg and his femur on his back left leg. He also had a fractured pelvis, but this was treated with rest. It is a miracle he is alive and able to walk again
He is a warrior and has the heart of a lion. He is doing his part and recovering wonderfully. We are raising funds to help pay his medical bill and surgery. Please consider donating today. Anything helps.
