NOVA Relief Center is committed to supporting refugees in need.
This fall, we are teaming up with over 70 locations to collect donated coats and blankets to send to Syrian refugee camps in Jordan this year. In the first three years, Northern Virginians sent over 100,000 blankets to camps, reaching over 50,000 refugee families. Without adequate support, we are unable to mobilize support in our communities, which is why we need your help.
This year, we expanded to more schools, businesses and faith communities than ever, as we give what we can, in support of refugees at home, and abroad. We need your help to keep this drive alive.
It is not too late to donate. Through your generous cash donations, NOVA Relief Center's Drive for Refugees aims to provide warm clothing and bedding to help families brave the winter months. There is much to do as we monitor the items all the way until they are in the hands of refugees in three camps in northern Jordan.
We look forward to following up with all who donate, and sharing photos of items arriving and making a difference for Syrian refugees.
In addition to this meaningful work of sharing warmth with those abroad, we are working to collaborate with local organizations and resettlement agencies to support refugees among us. Please join our efforts and donate today!
