The NoHo Home Alliance Great Socially-Distanced Sleep Out

The NNHA Sleep-Out is an immersive fundraising event, happening overnight starting at 6:30 PM, Saturday, October 3, 2020. Its aim is to raise awareness and funds for NHHA, a non-profit that addresses homelessness in Los Angeles.

Sleep-out in-person or remotely. Participants will safely gather overnight at NHHA’s home base in North Hollywood. Others will participate remotely from their own location. By sleeping-out, we demonstrate our commitment to building a healthier community. Register!

Entertainment & support are provided. Live Zoom updates will be used to keep us connected throughout the event starting at 6:30 PM. We will be joined by special guest Assembly Member Richard Bloom (CA-50), a long-time advocate for housing and services for the unhoused.  From 7 to 9 PM, NHHA has gathered some of our favorite artists & entertainers to aid our efforts. Enjoy their performances in our special Comedy Show & Concert.  Comedians led by Brian Kiley (comedian, television writer, novelist, & head monologue writer for Conan O'Brien) with Karen Rontowski, Dana Eagle, Angel Gaines, and Dwayne Perkins.  Also enjoy the Trinidadian American singer-songwriter TRISHES, country music artist Rob Mayes, and more.

Then join us for the “after party” from 9 to 11 PM featuring music by Insidious and The Conjuring composer Joseph Bishara with a special introduction by Emmy winner Lin Shaye, short films by director Mike Mendez (Tales of Halloween), best-selling author Danny Bell (The Black Pages) and Whitton Frank, and NoHo Arts District's very own Zombie Joe. Tickets are only $15.  It’s all available on Zoom the night of the Sleep-Out.

Also: educational materials about homelessness for children and adults available. Register!Links to educational tools will be sent out via email.

Participants gain an unforgettable experience. Meet leaders and others who also want to end homelessness. Wake-up with a better understanding about the complexities of homelessness. Learn how to discuss solutions to this complex issue.

All tax-deductible donations go directly to NoHo Home Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Funds will support NHHA’s amazing pop-up drop-in access centers for unhoused persons.
