The Pennyroyal Arts Council & Sanctuary, Inc. present Dancing with Our Stars on Saturday, September 7, 2019. Proceeds from the event and the funds raised during the dancing festivities will support the missions of the Pennyroyal Arts Council and Sanctuary, Inc.
Each donation made to a specific team will put that team closer to taking home the top title in the Dancing With Our Stars competition. And don't worry, you'll have plenty of ways to support us and our charities during the September 7 event as well!
ABOUT NOELL & MATT
Matt, a Baylor University graduate and Texas Tech School of Medicine graduate, has been a general surgeon in Hopkinsville since 2007. He initially started as an independent practitioner with Western Kentucky Surgical Associates, but has now been employed by Jennie Stuart Health for almost 5 years. He served as the Medical Staff President in 2015 and has served on several committees including Medical Executive Committee, Credentials, Quality and Utilization Review. Though work keeps him busy, he tries to attend his kids’ activities including swim meets, baseball games and school functions. Outside of work, Matt has been involved with church choir which led to involvement with Campanile Productions starting in 2012. He has appeared in several shows with Campanile including playing The Tinman in Wizard of Oz and Prince Dauntless in Once Upon a Mattress. He has been serving on the board of Campanile since 2014. Until his involvement with community theater, Matt had very little experience with dancing and has the goal of not embarrassing his children.
Noell, a Baylor University grad with a Bachelors in Nursing, retired in 2005 from the NICU in Texas. She has been a stay at home mom, busy with volunteer work since moving to Hopkinsville. She has always volunteered in the church nursery, and has been a weekly volunteer with Christian County Public Schools since 2010. Noell was a member of the Chamber Connection from 2008-2010, a member of the Alpha Alternative Board from 2010-2016, and volunteer diving coach for Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club in the summers of 2013-2018. She has helped behind the scenes for Campanile since Matt and son, Bryce, started performing. After holding several secretary and treasurer positions for the local swim teams, she led the capital campaign to purchase the new six lane scoreboard at the HHS pool last year, and is now the Booster President. Noell’s newest endeavor is full-time foster parent. Her dance experience dates all the way back to high school in Arizona where she was a member of her High School Pom Line and choreography group for the church youth group choir. Family - Married for 23 years, the Robinsons have three children, Bryce, 16, Riley, 14, and Cody, 10, as well as a two year old foster daughter. Members of New Work Fellowship, Matt co-teaches a small group on Sundays and Noell serves in the children’s ministry and the greeting and bulletin ministries. They were Hopper Host parents in the summers of 2015-2018 to 7 different college boys. “We are excited to be a part of Dancing With Our Stars and help raise money for the Arts Council and Sanctuary. We divide and conquer so often with kids’ and hospital activities, that it will be nice to do something together.” Noell & Matt are sponsored by Jennie Stuart Health.
