Refugees not receiving food rations due to Coronavirus rules against gathering.
In the areas we work, refugees are not receiving their monthly food rations due to government restrictions of gatherings. Normally, refugees living in the camps all go to a central location and get their food distributions. Millions are served in this way. However, there's not a system in place to get food to refugees individually to their homes. As a result, many refugees have missed their monthly rations and fear this problem will continue to affect future distributions. We have an answer. We distribute food individually, through a network of pastors and workers living in the camps. In Lebanon, we have kits of food that can be purchased and delivered to Syrian refugees. In Uganda, we have a storage facility, right outside of the camps that can be filled with rice, beans, and corn and then distributed to those who need it most. Will you help get emergency food to refugees who have missed their monthly food rations? Any amount will help.
