We are grateful for all our donors, members and friends who make it possible for the New Jersey State Museum Foundation to ensure the State Museum is a place of inspiration, a center for our community, and a destination to learn about art, history and science through shared experiences.
Since 1968 we have contributed to every part of the State Museum and planetarium. From paintings and objects for the collection, to funding scholarship of the Museum's professional staff, to supporting educational programs for children and adults, to fundraising for new galleries, exhibitions and planetarium shows, to volunteering for five decades, the impact of the Foundation, its members, donors and volunteers is present throughout every corner of the New Jersey State Museum.
Like so many non-profits, we rely on the generosity of others. While we work together with the State Museum to support their priorities, we are not funded by the state budget and are a separate 501(c)3 non-profit. Our staff members are tireless, dedicated and passionate about our work. We need them and we need you to help us through this uncertain time.
With the challenges we now face locally, nationally and globally due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we understand just how unsettled many of us feel. We feel it too. We know that there are many who need help. Still, we are humbly asking for your continued support so we will be able to employ our staff and cover our operational expenses throughout the closure. Thank you in advance for your consideration and please, stay healthy and safe.
