Help me and my sister, Kristine, pay-it-forward by raising money for the accomodation assistant fund at Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation. My sister has had epilepsy since the age of two. Sixteen years ago, Kristine had a radical brain surgery that helped her become seizure free for the first time in her adult life. She and our family remain grateful to the doctors, nurses, and entire staff who helped make this possible. To help pay-it-forward, we are raising money so that families can stay close to the hospital while a loved one receives treatment. My sister was in the hospital for over a month. The financial burden of hotel and food costs can make situation like this even more difficult than it already is for a family. We want to help ease this burden and provide financial support to those who need it. Our goal is to raise $2,000 to help patients and families who require extended stays at the hospital for treatment epilepsy.
