The NICU Warriors team welcomes you!
However you arrived to this page - whether it is through your own experience, a colleague, honoring a loved one, or supporting groundbreaking research - the B.A.A. 10K is an awesome opportunity for colleagues, friends, and family to come together in support of an area at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) that is meaningful to them. Our team is running and/or walking in support of their world-class NICU, which in some way has touched our lives. Funds raised by this team go toward the NICU Friends of BWH.
The bigger the village, the better our strength.
Hi, I’m Jennilee, Team "Captain" and Mama to a 29.0-weeker Brigham NICU Graduate; a now 3-year-old fabulously fierce, kind and comical, little girl.
Our team is open for you to join. The bigger the village, the better our strength. Plus, the more teammates we have, there are some cool perks! As part of our team, we welcome you to organize gatherings for race prep or perhaps fundraising ideas.
Also, we recieved great inspiration from the BWH Development Office when creating this team, such as how to fundraise $300 in just 6 days...y'ok! See you out there.
(The Deets: On Sunday, November 22 (formerly June 21, but rescheduled this year due to COVID-19) hundreds of teammates will [virtually, this year!] come together to run or walk the Boston Athletic Association’s 10K® road race to support Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital (BWFH ). BWH and BWFH care for patients across New England, throughout the United States, and from 120 countries around the world. Every day, our clinicians, researchers, and caregivers work to find new ways to predict, prevent, and treat the most challenging diseases of our time while delivering world-class care with a profoundly human touch. Our B.A.A. 10K teams are proud to fuel quality patient care, innovative training, and life-changing discoveries that will benefit patients here in Boston and around the world.)
