September 11, 2001 is a day I will never forget. Almost everyone can remember where they were, what they were doing and how they felt. I will remember it as the day that I lost 343 brothers.
September 8, I will have the privilege to honor one of the fallen firefighters by climbing 110 stairs in full bunker gear just the way they did on that fateful day. There were only 343 firefighters that were chosen and I will get to wear the name, Hector Tirado Jr., as he was one of the firefighters that perished on 9/11.
Please support me by helping me reach my fundraising pledge of $500.00. I've selected the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) to receive my donation. The NFFF is a non-profit organization that was created in an effort to remember America's fallen firefighters. The NFFF has developed and expanded programs to honor our fallen fire heroes and assist their families and coworkers.
Thank you so much for your support. You will never know how much this means to me.
