On April 20, 2020 I’ll be running the Boston Marathon in support of the John M. Barry Boys and Girls Club. We discovered the club four years ago when we moved to the Boston area and it’s been a big part of our family’s life ever since. I’ve seen firsthand how the club has inspired growth- a love for acting, cooking, fencing and healthy lifestyles. It’s been a place of consistency and safety, day in and day out. It’s a place where they can try new things, can be a part of sports team and can lead groups. The club serves 700 members from 5 to 18 yrs. old, with more than 47% coming from economically disadvantaged neighborhoods. I hope you’ll join me in making a meaningful impact on the future of thousands of area youth.
Team John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club, a 501(C)3 nonprofit, changes the lives of area children and teens everyday. With every mile run and every dollar raised, you are an agent of change for the more than 700 children and teen members, and the 2,600 we serve annually.
