Today is National siblings day and tomorrow is my hero, best friend and big brother’s 30th birthday. When I was 11, Adam got really sick, and I was confused and scared. Every day since, i’ve prayed him to have the long, healthy and happy life that he deserves. I’m grateful every day for his health, but i’m also scared every day. The fear, confusion, sadness that come with being the sibling of a brain tumor survivor are often unintentionally neglected. I’m fortunate to have had a lot of support including the support of some amazing people at CBTF. I’m so excited for them to formalize a program to support siblings and I hope you’ll join me in supporting their April Campaign to raise funds for the Sibling Support Program! Their new Siblings Support Program will address the emotional needs and challenges that siblings face when dealing with a childhood brain tumor diagnosis. CBTF needs our help to reach their $150,000 goal and launch this important program! Please consider donating in honor of your siblings and loved ones, and help support another family.
