Attention New Hampshire Patriots!
We need your help! (Please read to the end)
Do you see something wrong?
Have you watched as the Federal Government has grown far beyond its enumerated powers?
Have you ever wondered why our State Government does not stand up for state sovereignty?
The answer is much simpler than you might think. Unfortunately, simple does not mean easy.
The core of the problem.
The core of the problem is that we, the people of New Hampshire do not know our own Constitution. We do not know the limits of government, so we do not know when it exceeds those limits. We do not know our rights, so we do not know when we are losing them.
Sadly, many of the people we elect to represent us do not know the New Hampshire state constitution any better than we do. Many have never read it and some seem unaware that one exists.
They do not understand the principles of liberty or the history that gave us this wonderful document or how it relates to our Federal Constitution. As such, those we trust to represent us will inadvertently, often with the best of intentions, give up our liberty to those who seek to increase the power of government for their own ambitions. They do this because they rely on their own understanding without the guidance left by those who purchased our liberty at great cost. Those great men gave us the best tool we possess to protect liberty, the New Hampshire Constitution.
Increases of government power come only at the expense of the liberty of the individual. They do not understand that the protection of that liberty is their primary responsibility as representatives of the citizens of New Hampshire.
Our current state of affairs
Recently this loss of liberty has accelerated, not just in New Hampshire, but across this great Nation. The solution to this erosion of liberty and excessive government power can be found at the state level. Meanwhile, we see the practice of ignoring the constitutional limits of power has already permeated the state of New Hampshire at its highest levels of governance.
· We are told when and if we can go to church and how we are to worship.
· We are told what businesses are allowed to be open, and how they are to operate.
· The government now decides if your job is essential or non-essential.
· We have lost the ability to oversee and determine what our children will learn in school in our own communities.
· We are told that we cannot assemble in protest without the permission of government.
· Our governor creates rules that carry the full penalty of law by emergency order, with no regard for the limits our State Constitution.
· Our Elected officials fail to hold our government appointees to the responsibilities of their positions.
These are just a few of the indications that we have a government that is out of control and the State government needs to be returned to the control limited by the State Constitution which represents the consent of the people.
We Have The Solution, and You Can Help!
It is impossible to hold our elected officials to constitutional standards that we do not know ourselves. Therefore, we desperately need your help.
At the core of every action to preserve liberty must be the understanding of the State Constitutions. This is why Institute On The Constitution has enlisted patriots in every state to create a course on their respective constitutions, but we desperately need your help and time is of the essence.
We must educate our fellow citizens while we still have a government that can be constrained by the Constitution of New Hampshire. In turn, a disciplined state government will serve to take its rightful place in regulating the power of an out-of-control Federal Government and reign in its power, restoring that power to the states respectively, and to the people.
Why Institute on the Constitution (IOTC)
IOTC is on a mission to restore our Constitutional Republic through grassroots education. They were co-founded in 2004 by Attorney Michael Peroutka, and have since provided courses on the U.S. Constitution, the Truth of America’s Founding, the Sheriff and the Citizen, the Duty of the Jury, and the Maryland State Constitution. Now they are on a mission to complete courses on all other 49 state constitutions.
All IOTC courses are created using primary source documents, the principle approach method of education, and are all taught from our founders “American View” of law and government as stated in the Declaration of Independence (summarized):
· There is a God
· Our rights come from Him.
· The purpose of Government is to secure those rights.
Unlike other institutions that offer government courses, IOTC courses offer community support, perks, and rewards as you study. You will not only gain knowledge, but you will learn what to do with it. IOTCcourse materials help equip students put knowledge into action with the gifts God has given them. They have helped students make an impact in their communities in countless ways: from using courses to teach their children, to hosting classes in a local community center, to running for public office.
IOTC is endorsed by historian David Barton, Representative Ron Paul, Scientist Ken Ham, Larry Pratt from Gunowners of America, Sheriff Richard Mack (CSPOA), and Masterbooks among others.
