As you may know, our daughter Neva was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma over a year ago. She's been through A LOT - 5 rounds of chemo, 2 bone marrow transplants, 12 days of radiation, 4 rounds of immunotherapy to date, 2 major surgeries, 100+ nights in the hospital, and countless blood tranfusions. We are approaching our last round of immunotherapy and hopefully our last extended hospital stay.
While Neva won't be the last child to endure such an ordeal, we want to do our part to help a find a future cure. Beat Nb drives neuroblastoma cancer research and raises awareness, making a difference in kids’ survival today.
Family, friends, and total strangers (2 teams of 8 runners) are joining forces with Team Neva to run Ragnar Kentuckiana in May. It's going to be tough race but nothing compared to what Neva has faced.
We are running for Neva. We are running for every kid like Neva - past, present, and future. We are running to help find a cure.
We're raising money for Beat Nb and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Each runner is responsible for 14.90 miles so our goal is to raise $14,900 in total by 5/9/2019. We've also created a page on Facebook to help combine fundraising efforts. Every little bit helps. Please feel free to spread the word to anyone and everyone.
Thank you for your support.
