We received a request for help with 4- (one week old) husky puppies whose mother had recently been found deceased by her family. One of our transport team members quickly made the 4 hour drive to safely get the four surviving puppies to B-Squad.
One of our neonate fosters is providing round the clock care as these little ones need to eat every four hours. Their little systems are very fragile at this time, but all puppies are currently stable, eating well, and resting comfortably between feedings in one of our life saving incubators. As you can see in the photo, these incubators are meant for single puppy or a few multiple small breed puppies. The pups will quickly out grow this space within the next week. Our backup incubator is currently not in working order and we would like to purhcase another incubator to continue to host these puppies while their little bodies need help regulating their body temperature. These incubators regulate the temperature of the puppies within a degree taking the guess work out of the use of heating pads, etc which can be very unreliable.
We are hoping to raise $1,000 to help with the purchase of another life saving incubator as well as other supplies such as formula, absorbent pads, bottles/nipples, etc that will be required to help keep these puppies thriving. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to help us to continue to provide this life saving care! Your support is very much appreciated!
