In the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, PACIV Foundation started the “Diego’s Relief Project”. The project was born from the coincidental encounter and rescue, in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico of the first patient Diego, an 8-year-old who suffers from the rare life-threatening disease “Propionic Acidemia”. Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando accepted Diego in record time, where he received the appropriate treatment for his condition.
Since Diego’s rescue and during the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, three (3) other children’s, Fabianna, Joanilis and Rafael, all with immediate and critical health needs were accepted at Nemours Children’s Hospital and medvac, by PACIV Foundation, from Hospitals in Puerto Rico.
In gratitude to Nemours Children's Hospital and on behalf of Diego, Fabianna, Joanilis and Rafael, we want to make a donation in time for their annual gala "A Night with Nemours" in benefit of their Pediatric Residency Training Program. This program is focused on recruiting the best and brightest medical students to train as experts in pediatric specialty care.
If you’re able, we’d love it if you could make a donation and help us contribute to Nemours Pediatric care. PACIV Foundation will match each $1 donated with another $1 (up to $5,000).
Thank you in advance for your contribution. Your donation will go entirely toward Nemours Children's Hospital.
