Dear friends and FRH supporters.
In this surreal new version of normal, with social distancing, limits on exposures to groups, and our kids home from school, we are approaching our spring session without our most valued resource--our patients!
FRH sees patients who are the most vulnerable in our population. They aren't able to ride. We aren't able to treat. Horses aren't able to work and we have no way of caring for our herd in this down time.
China, Robin, Romeo, Monarch, Boo, and Mini are all neighing for hay! We need your help to spread the word, make a donation - nothing is too small- or offer to purchase something from our wish list. We also accept in-kind donations of your time or goods.
Grass/Alfalfa Mix Hay bales $10/bale

We can't do hippotherapy without our animals. We need them healthy and well when we return to sessions as soon as it's safe!
We are a Colorado 501 C-3 located 7 miles north of Boulder on Hwy 36. Our facility thrives on the dynamic that exists between horses and people with disabilities. Our clients come from all over the front range to experience this magical interaction.
Hippotherapy is PT, OT, and Speech Therapy while astride a horse. We work to achieve our therapy-centered goals with clients by using the horse and it’s inherent movements to elicit the response we’re seeking--whether it be physical, cognitive, behavioral or emotional.
We use a team of specially-trained horses as well as an amazing group of volunteers to get this work done and done well. We rely on community support for financial contributions, in-kind donations (goods and services) and for getting the word out about our unique organization.
