Our Story

Since 2008,  the Nehemiah Center have been  empowering and enriching the lives of at-risk youth, teens,  and young adults. We do this through our various outreach components designed to create career awareness in the STEM and I.T. fields.

Our goal is to decrease the educational inequity and social disparities that exist in the communities we serve. These activities instill change in the entire family unit.   With our feeding ministry, we also help to eradicate hunger  - especially during the pandemic. Our efforts will increase financial stability, create a more diverse and marketable workforce.

We recently became a REGISTERED Apprenticeship with ApprenticeshipNC.  Along with GuilfordWorks, this component allows us to train, certify and even create jobs for teens and adults in the I.T. field.  Click here to see video about our apprenticeship opportunities
